Turn your Pocket PC into a Wireless Phone
Posted on Wednesday February 20, @11:22PM Pacific
Net Devices At the intersection between VoIP, Wi-Fi and the PDA is TeleSym. TeleSym is building on the opportunity created by three converging technologies: the shift of voice telephone traffic to IP networks; the rapid adoption of wireless LANs; and new more powerful mobile devices with their SymPhone product. SymPhone software allows you to turn 802.11b wireless network into a mobile phone network of sorts. The possibilities here are quite intriguing. It is a market worth keeping your eyes on.
