Manage you Server Via your Browser

Posted on Friday April 07, @02:48AM Pacific
Infrastructure Webmin provides a wonderful way for you to manage your server. Using any browser that supports tables and forms (and Java for the File Manager module), you can set up and manage user accounts, Apache, DNS, MySQL, SendMail, file sharing and much more. Webmin consists of a simple web server and a number of CGI programs which directly update system files like /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/passwd. The web server and all CGI programs are written in Perl version 5.

An introduction to Webmin has just been posted at DevShed.com. See One Stop Linux Administration with Webmin.

I've used Webmin since ver. 0.5. I highly recommend it. It's much easier to use than LinuxConf or the Cobalt management product.
