Here is a collection of web apps that I have found useful as a web developer. DJ Delorie has produced a bunch of handy tools:

Lynx Viewer - see what your pages will look like when viewed with Lynx, a text-mode web browser
Search Engine Simulator - see what your pages will look like to a search engine
and the Web Page Backward Compatibility Viewer

Test and improve the cacheability of your site with the Cacheability Engine. See exactly what an HTTP request returns to your browser with Rex Swain's HTTP Viewer. Easily create tables with the TableMaker. You can also try GIFWorks, a web-based graphics effects generator or add a search engine to your site. I am sure there are plenty more useful web apps for web developers. Feel free to add them below.
