MetaDot includes many built-in features, like user registration, directory services, online discussions, self publication of newsfeeds, portal management tools, look and feel customization and it can be extended in functionality by adding MetaDot Gizmos plug-ins.

On the portal front, Zope's Portal Toolkit is developing into a great product for building "me centric" portals.
