Programming Varium is an Open Source development project dedicated to creating a distributed MUD server. Varium will provide support for intelligent agents with purposes and histories and memories that are able to travel between servers and coordinate with other agents. Varium is written in Python.

The Cold Software Project is a group of people joined in the common goal of developing software in and for ColdC. ColdC is a run-time mutable object oriented database language, engineered specifically as an engine for online persistent servers (such as Virtual Environment Systems).
