Voice Enable your Web Site

Posted on Wednesday June 07, @01:52AM Pacific
Web Apps Firetalk provides the ability to add voice chat to any web site, as well as the ability to provide web tours. Firetalk creates a forum on any web site where visitors can talk to each other with their real voice. Firetalk also allows a site leader to specify one page to be a custom Firetalk voice communications room. This allows one to customize the content that the visitors experience while they interact with the site and each other. I have not yet signed this site up to be a Firetalk partner. Let me know if there is any interest.

I've tried Firetalk. It's quite good, but I think the asynchronous commenting mode is much more appropriate for site such as this.

Thanks Rock, I tend to agree. At Infolets we aim to please, so I figured I'd open it up to all of you.

I'd second what Rock said. Plus Firetalk only works on Windows, but an Infolets IRC channel might be cool.

Well Jon, I have been looking into Jabber for another project. I'll put some thought into how some of Jabber's features can possibly be intergrated into Infolets. Thanks
