Serve WML or HTML From a Single Document Source
Posted on Friday June 16, @09:03PM Pacific
Net Devices SEML (Semi-Extensible Markup Language) is a new language similar to XHTML and WML that allows the serving of both WML or HTML from a single source document. This means you only need to have one page for both your WAP and WEB sites, which is then delivered by means of XSL and PHP/ASP scripting. To convert SEML to HTML or WML, you will need two things. Firstly you need a server side processing language (PHP, ASP, CFML, JSP etc...). If you have this, the only component you are missing is two XSL files.
