UNIX meets XML

Ux is UNIX revisited with XML. The goal of Ux is the re-implementation of UNIX toolbox using Java, XML and XSL. The reason for the early announcement of the Ux project is to attract people interested in implementing some well-known UNIX tools such as diff, grep, sed in XSLT. Ux already allows easy utilization of any existing XML component. So one can think of Ux as "yet another open source XML/XSLT application server".
