Openadaptor is a Java/XML-based software platform which allows for rapid business system integration with little or no custom programming. Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, a unit of German Dresdner Bank AG, has released their custom-built, back-end integration tool to the Open Source community and has named it Openadaptor. Openadaptor was used to deploy the company's global equities derivative trading system and supports many standards both in the financial and IT industries. It also has components that interface with a number of 3rd-party products such as Tibco and IBM MQSeries. Openadaptor's source code license is modeled after the MTI X license. It allows free use of the source code in any open source or commercial application.
